Feb 4, 2010: Dispute Resolution & Realtor Involvement

YPN was created to empower Realtors and encourage active participation in local and national Realtor associations. The Code of Ethics sets the standard for our industry and it is our job to hold our peers to a high level of professionalism. Yet most agents are unsure of how to proceed when faced with a potential Ethics violation or a dispute with another Realtor.

Join Valley of the Sun YPN for an engaging look at Arizona Association of Realtor's Dispute Resolution Programs. Learn about the Omsbudsman, Realtor Mediation and Arbitration process. Kym Peters with AAR will explain how you can get involved with your local and state Realtor associations, the requirements for volunteering on a committee, exactly what would be expected of you and what you can expect to gain from your involvement.

Interested in pursuing a leadership position now, or in the future?
Arizona Association of Realtors offers a Leadership Training Academy, open to all Realtors who want to enhance their leadership skills.
“If anyone wishes to be more effective when dealing with people,
whether they are in a direct leadership position or even plan to be in one,
the principles of this program are invaluable.” - AAR

More information on AAR's Leadership Training Academy will be available at our meeting. We hope to see you there!
